-the T2 teaser was lame
-that Man of Steel trailer is phenomenal. If the actual movie had been half as good…wow. I liked it, but how disappointing.
-the Psycho trailer should be disqualified. It’s 6 and a half minutes!
-I do like the Unbreakabke trailer. But the one for the Sixth Sense is absolutely better. http://youtu.be/VG9AGf66tXM
-I didn’t remember Where the Wild Things Are. Nice find.
-Nolan must have a major hand in his trailers, because they are generally outstanding. TDKR>TDK
-Tinker, Tailor is almost a perfect movie, but the trailer is pretty standard. Similar argument for Drive.
-I liked the Llewyn Davis trailer better than No Country. http://youtu.be/t-vC6DZJmlw
-Pulp Fiction isn’t fair. Not only is it 3 minutes, but the movie is already so great (and not overrated!) that splicing together clips is almost too easy.
-Alien would probably be atop my list, followed closely by Pearl Harbor.
-Social Network is a great pick (could have guessed that from Remy, re: Radiohead) but I prefer the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, which would almost certainly be on my list: http://youtu.be/WVLvMg62RPA
-Cloverfield has the novelty factor but not much else.
-it’s close, but I think Phantom Menace is better than Revenge.
-Superman? Really? It’s a bunch of names.
-Remy was bound by contract to include a PTA flick.
-The Shining is so stinking creepy. Yeesh.
-Harry Potter. Lol
-I’ve never seen Little Children or the trailer. Goodness.
Some of the best trailers are not much different than music videos.
